Guangdong Asphalt Company Launches Joint Emergency Drill for Oil Spill Fire Fighting

Guangdong Asphalt Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the company) 2020 oil spill fire fighting joint emergency drill kicked off on the morning of November 6th at the company's factory. A total of 72 people from company leaders, personnel from various departments and Zhanjiang City Fire Fighting Detachment participated Joint emergency drills.

With the guiding ideology of “consolidating the safety management of truck platforms and improving emergency response capabilities”, the exercise simulated the tank truck catching fire after an oil spill. The company initiated an emergency plan for the initial rescue, and later joined the Zhanjiang City Fire Brigade to extinguish the fire. During the drill, the employees had a clear division of labor, clear responsibilities, rigorous attitudes, and strictly implemented the emergency plan procedures, and successfully completed the emergency drill.

Through this emergency drill, the company’s employees’ emergency response capabilities were effectively improved, and at the same time, the company’s emergency rescue capabilities at the scene of the accident between the company and the Zhanjiang Fire Detachment were tested, laying a solid foundation for the company’s safe and stable production.
